.75 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
.25 c molasses
2 c flour
1 t ground ginger
1 t cinnamon
.5 t salt
.5 t baking soda
sugar
Cream butter and 1 cup sugar until light.
Add egg, and molasses; beat well.
Combine flour, spices, salt, and soda; add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Shape into small balls and roll in sugar.
Bake at 325° F. for 8 to 12 minutes.
